Frequently Asked Boarding & Grooming Questions

  • Do you board Cats?

    Yes! We have cat specific climate controlled boarding options, and would love to meet your cat!

  • Can I bring my own food?

    Yes. If you would like to keep your pet on their same diet or if you give your pet canned or semi-moist food, please bring it with you at drop off! You are also welcome to bring treats. 

  • Do I need to bring dishes?

    No, we provide food an water dishes for your pet.

  • Can I bring my pet's blanket?

    Due to the pandemic, we are not allowing outside bedding. We give each pet a new and fresh blanket every morning of their stay! You are welcome to bring toys or rawhides. 

  • How many times do they go outside?

    Individually, your pet will be taken outside 4 times for 10-15 minutes each. We do offer additional outside playtime at an added cost.

  • Do they interact with other animals at the facility?

    No, each pet is given individual attention, and is taken outside seperately.

  • Is someone at the facility 24 hours a day?

    No, overnight they are by themselves. However, the owner's parents do live on the property, so there is usually someone close by.

  • Do you have Air Conditioning and Heating?

    Yes, all of our spaces are climate controlled for your pet's comfort.

  • What vaccines are required?

    For Dogs: DHLPP, Rabies and Bordetella 


    For Cats: FVRCP and Rabies

  • How far in advance should vaccines be given?

    Bordetella should be given at least two weeks in advance. If your dog has never had the vaccine before, we recommend at least a month or two months in advance.

  • Can you give dogs medicine?

    Yes, we can administer medications perscribed by a vet at an additional fee. 

  • Do I need to make a reservation? How far in advance should I make it?

    Yes, you will need to make a reservation. In order to assure availability, we suggest making a reservation with us as soon as your plans are made. For summer and holliday availability, we recommend making reservations 1 - 2 months in advance. 

  • Do I need to leave a deposit?

    No, but we ask that you let us know if you plan to cancel as soon as possible (at least 72 hours notice required) so that we can fill your spot. 

  • How do I pay?

    We take payment when you pick up your pet. However you can pre-pay if someone is picking up your pet for you, or pay over the phone by credit card.  

  • Can someone else pick up my pet?

    Yes, but their name must be written in the contract giving them permission, and they must bring identifiication with them when they pick up your pet. 

  • How old does a puppy have to be in order to board?

    4 months old, and they must have an entire series of DHLPP shots.
